Ruby: Oh, good, you’re here!
Ginger: Yeah, you ready to go?
Ginger: I thought we were going to see cars.
Ruby: Yeah, Cars. We can start it right after dinner.
Ginger: Start what?
Ginger: Cars will start right after dinner.
Ruby: Yes. I don’t know why, but Fly really wanted to watch it again. He should be here soon with his copy of the movie.
Ginger: What movie?
Ginger: What’s the name of the movie?
Ruby: What movie?
Ginger: This movie with cars in it.
Ginger: Yes. Y’know, beep-beep, two to four doors, four wheels, vroom-vroom?
Ruby: Yes, I know. Cars.
Ginger: Look, we’re having dinner with Fly, right?
Ginger: And we’re going to see a movie?
Ginger: So, when do we leave to see the auto show?
Ruby: What? You–OH! Okay, Costello, the movie is called Cars, okay? It’s by Pixar and you already knew that…didn’t you?
Ginger: You suck as Abbott.
Ruby: But I saved myself a headache.
Ginger: I mean, when Fly emailed that ‘we need to see Cars again” I really did think we were going to see some cars. We haven’t been to an auto show in over a year and I think we’re slipping away from our true cause of character.
Ruby: ‘True cause of character?’
Ginger: Is that the name of a movie, too?
Ruby: No, I’m just curious: When did we stick to that ‘true cause of character’ you speak of so passionately?
Ginger: Well…um…see…oh, look – Fly is walking up to the door downstairs…
Ruby: Okay, I’ll let it go this time, but only if you start singing along with the soundtrack.
Ginger: Hey, that only happened ONCE!
Ruby: Yeah, once a week.
Ginger: Hey, did you and Fly ever see Cars 2?
Ruby: Is this another Abbott-Costello attempt?
Ginger: …not anymore…
